5-Second Berry Cobbler

Only TWO days until Christmas!! I can’t wait! Today is my first official day of the holiday break and I am so excited to finally enjoy my Christmas pjs, hot chocolate, and lots of time with family. So festive! Last night Aaron and I finally had time to watch our first Christmas movie of the season…we’ve both been so busy!

We decided to watch Home Alone…(the OG)…because I found out that Aaron has NEVER seen it!!!! We come across classics all the time that he’s never seen. For example, Grease! Who hasn’t seen Grease?!?

I’ll tell you who, Aaron Shinn!

Anyways…he loved it! Such a great way to kick off the holidays.

Over the next few days we have lots of fun stuff planned…parties with friends, church, our traditional Christmas morning breakfast with peppered bacon…(YES!), and lots of events with our families.

I’m not sure about you but I like to bring something to every event I attend. It’s just good manners…and if you aren’t already doing this, you should! Even if it’s a bouquet of flowers or bottle of wine. You should always bring something for the host or the host’s guests!

I have the EASIEST, 5-second berry cobbler for you! I know I don’t have time to chop, cut, heat up, cook, etc this time of year and I doubt you do either! Not only is this berry cobbler so easy to make, it is also a very cheap and super YUMMY option. My family requests it all the time now!

Since I started making it a couple years ago, the recipe has slowly changed. I originally found it on Pinterest…but some of the measurements just didn’t work for me. I feel like I’ve perfected it now…

Here it is…

5-Second Berry Cobbler

1/2 cup butter cubed, @ room temperature

1 1/2 cups of flour

2/3 cup of sugar

Mix all those together in one bowl. Should be very powdery. I like to mix it with a large fork.

1 pound bag of frozen berries (I get the mixed berry bag with raspberries, blackberries and blueberries)

1/2 cup of sugar again to mix with berries.

Grab another bowl and mix both the berries and the sugar together.

Take the sugary-berry mix and dump in dish. Flat in dish. Sprinkle crumble evenly on top.

Bake at 425 for 30 to 35 minutes. Should be a light golden-brown.

Serve with a scoop (or two) or vanilla ice cream!

ENJOY!! IT’S SO GOOD!
